Our first litter S-Litter born 30th of May 2007

The mother is Nuala - Pelghart Precious Gold - she is CEA free at 7 weeks / CEA n/c carrier (Optigen) / HD A / MDR1 n/n normal
The father is the German Youth Champion Brain vom Isteiner Klotz
CEA free at 6 weeks / HD A / MDR1 n/c carrier
tested in 2008 DNA CEA n/c carrier
This mating did not produce any MDR1-affected puppies .

Six puppies were CEA free, one turned out to be affected (Giaco) after a genetic test in 2009. The normal eyetest apparently doesn't say enough about the offspring of two dogs - in this case both parents were CEA free at  the usual test, but genetically CEA carrier.
I didn't know in 2007 the genetical status of the dog - so I think meanwhile this is an important condition for breeding to know it from both parents !

and all MDR1 +/+ , five puppies CEA free at 7 weeks
one puppy (Sam) mild CRD (DOK) - later genetically tested as affected
